All standard plugins included in paid plans
Many app builders sell each native feature separately. Here, every standard plugin of the library comes with the paid plans, and you add as many as your app needs. Enterprise plugins (device management, security, marketing SDKs) are built on request and quoted per project.
How it works
Open the plugin library
In your project, go to Configuration, then App. The library lists every plugin with its platforms.
Add a plugin and save
Tap + on a plugin, fill in its settings if it has any, then save. The app you have already shipped does not change.
Run a new build
Plugins are added when the app is built. Install the new build, or publish it as an update.
Call it from your site
Your site detects the app (its user agent includes SaasToStoreApp) and calls window.saastostore. The JavaScript bridge docs list each method.
What works where
Every plugin marked Included works in the native Android builds (Android Build (Native) and the Android TV build), not in the Android Build (Web): that one opens your site in Chrome (TWA), without the native layer. On iOS, biometric unlock and the device plugins (haptic feedback, in-app review, native share, screen control, secure storage, app info, in-app browser, screen orientation) work with or without the native navigation of your app (Shell V2), though without Shell V2 biometric unlock also needs one of these plugins, or the status bar, to be added; the status bar works only in full-screen apps, without Shell V2; push notifications, shortcuts, deep links and location still need Shell V2, and in-app subscriptions are Android only for now. Android TV is turned on by choosing the Android TV build. Plugins marked Soon are not available yet: no date is given before a plugin works on real builds.
Enterprise plugins
Microsoft Intune, managed configuration, screenshot blocking, or a marketing SDK such as Braze: these plugins are built on request for business apps. Tell us about your project from the contact page. Brand names on this page are trademarks of their respective owners; SaasToStore is not affiliated with Google, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Salesforce or any provider listed here.
Native plugins — frequently asked questions
Are plugins included in my plan?+
Yes. Standard plugins are included in the paid plans, with no license per plugin: add as many as your app needs. The free test build (Android, with the SaasToStore logo) shows your website as an app, without plugins. Enterprise plugins are quoted per project.
Do I need a new build after adding a plugin?+
Yes. Plugins are added when the app is built. Changes to your website show up in the app without a build; a new plugin needs one, then an update in the stores.
Which Android build includes the plugins?+
The native one: Android Build (Native), and the Android TV build. The Android Build (Web) opens your site in Chrome (TWA), without window.saastostore: no plugin works in it, and no error tells you so. In the Build tab, choose the native build before you build.
Do plugins work on iOS?+
The ones marked Included work in the native Android builds, not in the Android Build (Web). On iOS, biometric unlock, haptic feedback, in-app review, native share, screen control, secure storage, app info, the in-app browser and screen orientation work with or without the native navigation (Shell V2), though without Shell V2 biometric unlock also needs one of the other plugins listed here, or the status bar, to be added; the status bar works only in full-screen apps (without Shell V2), and its color cannot be changed on iOS; push notifications, shortcuts, deep links and location still need Shell V2. In-app subscriptions are Android only for now.
What does Soon mean?+
The plugin is planned but not available yet. In your project, “Notify me” tells us you need it: the most requested plugins are built first. No date is given before a plugin works on real builds.
Do I need a store developer account?+
Not to add plugins or to build. You need one only to publish: a Google Play developer account (one-time US$25 fee) for Google Play, the Apple Developer Program (US$99 a year) for the App Store. In-app subscriptions also need your subscriptions set up in Google Play and a RevenueCat project.
How does my website call a plugin?+
Through window.saastostore, which only exists inside the app. Your site checks that it is there before calling it, so in a normal browser nothing changes. The JavaScript bridge docs list each method.
