How SaasToStore wraps your WordPress site
SaasToStore automatically selects the optimal build type based on your WordPress setup:
TWA build — lightweight
For WordPress sites with a service worker (via WP Super PWA, Super Progressive Web Apps, or PWA for WP plugin). App size: ~800 KB. Chrome-powered. Google's official recommended method.
Requires: HTTPS + manifest + service worker
Capacitor build — universal
For any WordPress site — no service worker needed. Works with WooCommerce, Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, any page builder, and default themes. App size: ~4 MB. Passes Play Store review by construction.
Requires: HTTPS only
SaasToStore's PWA checker identifies your build type automatically. Check your WordPress URL →
WordPress to Android — vs the alternatives
❌ Raw WebView wrapper
- ×Rejected by Google Play (policy 4.3)
- ×No keystore management
- ×No Play Store compliance

❌ Native WordPress app (React Native / Flutter)
- ×Requires separate mobile codebase
- ×Developer cost: 5,000€–50,000€

- ×API integration maintenance

From WordPress to Google Play — step by step
Check your WordPress site (10 seconds, free)
Paste your URL into SaasToStore's PWA checker. It runs HTTPS verification, manifest detection, service worker check, and returns the recommended build type.
Configure your Android app identity
Set app name (≤30 chars, shown in Play Store), package ID (e.g., com.yourdomain.app — permanent after first upload), version, and upload a 512×512 icon.
Launch the build (under 5 minutes)
SaasToStore compiles your WordPress URL into a signed .aab and .apk on the build server. Pipeline: manifest parsing → keystore generation → Capacitor compilation → APK signing → email delivery.
Create your Google Play developer account (25€ one-time)
Register at play.google.com/console. ID verification takes 24–48 hours. Start this in parallel with the build so both complete at the same time.
Fill your Play Store listing
App name, description (4,000 chars), screenshots, feature graphic (1024×500), content rating, data safety form, privacy policy URL. SaasToStore generates the AI description from your WordPress content automatically.
Upload .aab and submit for review (1–3 business days)
Production → Create release → upload .aab → submit. Google reviews new apps in 1–3 business days. Updates are typically reviewed in under 24 hours.
Publish your WordPress app to more than Google Play
The LAUNCH plan (from 15€) extends distribution beyond Google Play — no additional development needed:

Frequently asked questions
Can any WordPress site be converted to an Android app?+
Yes. Any WordPress site served over HTTPS can be wrapped into a signed Android App Bundle. If your site has a service worker (via a PWA plugin), SaasToStore uses a lightweight TWA build. If not, Capacitor mode wraps it natively — no PWA requirements.
Do I need to modify my WordPress theme or plugins?+
No. SaasToStore wraps your live WordPress URL as-is. Your WooCommerce, Elementor, or WPBakery setup continues to work identically inside the Android app. No file edits, no plugin required on the WordPress side.
Will WooCommerce work inside the Android app?+
Yes. The Android app loads your live WordPress URL — WooCommerce shopping carts, Stripe checkout, product pages, user accounts, and order history all work as in the browser. Payments use your existing payment gateway.
Does the Android app update automatically when I change my WordPress site?+
Yes. Content changes (new posts, design updates, plugin changes) are live in the app immediately — the app loads your live URL. Only structural changes (new icon, new app name) require a new SaasToStore build.
How do I handle push notifications for my WordPress app?+
SaasToStore's PACK UPDATES plan integrates Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can send push notifications to all your app users from the SaasToStore dashboard — no WordPress plugin, no code. Works with any WordPress configuration.
What's the minimum WordPress plan required?+
Any WordPress hosting that provides an HTTPS URL works. WordPress.com (Business plan or higher for custom domains), Kinsta, WP Engine, SiteGround, or self-hosted — all compatible. The free WordPress.com subdomain (yoursite.wordpress.com) also works.
Can I publish my WordPress app on stores other than Google Play?+
Yes. SaasToStore's LAUNCH plan distributes to Google Play, Amazon Appstore, Samsung Galaxy Store, and generates a Windows .msi + macOS .dmg + Linux .AppImage — all from the same WordPress URL.
