Can any Squarespace site be converted to an Android app?+
Yes. Any Squarespace site on a custom domain with HTTPS can be wrapped into a signed Android App Bundle using SaasToStore. Squarespace automatically provides HTTPS on all custom domains. No changes to your Squarespace template are required.
Does Squarespace Commerce work inside the Android app?+
Yes. Squarespace Commerce product pages, shopping cart, and Squarespace Payments all work natively in the app — the app loads your live Squarespace URL. Inventory updates, price changes, and new products appear in the app instantly.
What Squarespace plan do I need to convert to an app?+
Any Squarespace plan with a custom domain works. Business, Commerce Basic, and Commerce Advanced are all compatible. The free trial domain (yourdomain.squarespace.com) does not qualify for Google Play — a custom domain is required.
Will my Squarespace Member Areas work in the app?+
Yes. Member login, gated content, subscriber newsletters, and course content work identically inside the Android app. The app authenticates members using the same Squarespace session system as the browser.
Does Squarespace have PWA support built in?+
Squarespace does not natively generate a PWA manifest or service worker. SaasToStore uses Capacitor mode — which requires HTTPS only, not a full PWA setup — so any Squarespace site on a custom domain qualifies without modifications.
How do I update my app after changing my Squarespace site?+
Content changes (new pages, products, blog posts, design updates) are live in the app immediately — the app loads your live Squarespace URL. Only app identity changes (new icon, new app name, new package ID) require a new SaasToStore build.
Can I publish my Squarespace site to the App Store as well as Google Play?+
Yes. The same Squarespace URL also produces a signed .ipa for the App Store — iOS is included from the SOLO plan, so you are not buying a second product. You submit it under your own Apple Developer account (99 USD/year); we build and sign, you own the listing.
Will Apple approve a Squarespace site published this way?+
Apple reviews wrapped web apps more strictly than Google does. App Store Review Guideline 4.2 asks for an app that does more than reopen a website, so your Squarespace site needs real app value — an account, saved state, notifications, something a bookmark cannot do. Apps that are genuine products pass; a marketing page wrapped in a shell does not. Google Play applies a comparable rule but enforces it more loosely, which is why an app can clear Play and still be rejected by Apple.
